Staff at Bristol Zoo tackle the latest TikTok challenge
Bristol Zoo has joined in with the latest TikTok trend, the #BlindingLightsChallenge.
For anyone not already familiar with the latest social media platform to storm the world, TikTok themselves as a “social network for amateur music videos”, and used to be known as Musical.ly.
The social video app, which allows users to share short videos, it is most used by people aged 13 to 24. Lots of trending challenges cycle around the app, with one of the latest being the #BlindingLightsChallenge, a dance to The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights.

Zoos across the country are now competing after a keeper at Folly Farm in Tenby started it and tagged Dudley Zoo, Blackpool Zoo and Longleat.
Keepers are continuing to care for the animals at Bristol Zoo and Wild Place Project, despite the lockdown. The challenge has been a great way to boost morale among staff.
The team at Bristol Zoo were tagged in the #ZooDanceOff by Longleat. Watch the video below, which sees staff hopping on a great lockdown mood booster and showing off their dancing moves, all while keeping Bristol’s animals well cared for.
