Dom Wood is the chief executive of 1625 Independent People, a charity with its headquarters in Old Market which supports young people aged 16 to 25 who are at risk of becoming homeless or are already homeless. The University of Bristol graduate was recently awarded an honourary doctorate of laws from his alma mater.
