AUTUMN BEER FESTIVAL: The Three Tuns, The Bag of Nails and The Lime Kiln come together to bring a selection of cask ales, craft keg and ciders and bottles. St. George’s Road, 12pm.

IN: MOTION/ SOULECTION: The sounds of tomorrow from L.A based music collective Soulection. DJ Joe Kay, Los Angeles DJ Sosupersam, and The Whooligan will be gracing the decks. Motion, 10pm.

GOAN DOGS/ CHINA BOWLS/ SAM BROKINGTON: Holding this gig inside an 18th century church are Goan Dogs with their Americana-tinged indie rock sound. St. Thomas the Martyr Church, 7.30pm.

CONTOURS/ ROSS FROM FRIENDS: Electronic record label, Shall Not Fade host an intimate show with earthy percussion and afro-beats mixed with luscious melodies. Small Horse Social Club, 10pm.

CHUCKLE BUSTERS FRIDAY NIGHT COMEDY: A regular mix of big names in stand-up comedy as well as handpicked local talent. Wardrobe theatre, 9.30pm.

BROWN IN TOWN SAMPLE SALE: One of Bristol’s most fashionable tailors David Minns hosts a sample sale, with food and drink from More Wine and The Bristol Cheesemonger. The Forge, 6pm-11pm.

BRISTOL SUNSET CINEMA: ROBIN HOOD: Screened against the backdrop of the beautiful Ashton Court, Bristol Sunset Cinema presents Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Ashton Court, 7pm.

STANLEY BRINKS/ FRESCHARD: Stanley Brinks and Freschard bring a blend of European calypso, blues and country to Live at the Laundrette. At The Well, 7.45pm.

IN: MOTION/ MTA: Featuring a headline DJ set from Label bosses Chase & Status plus a massive lineup of label affiliated support. Motion, 10pm.
