Whether New Year’s Eve to you is the biggest night of the year to party, or a low-key occasion to get together with friends and celebrate, we’ve got you covered with some of Bristol’s best bashes on December 31:

Bambalan

Hosting an 1980s themed Tropicana party at their Colston Tower home, tickets are two tier: for £35 you’ll get a cocktail on arrival, a four-course feast and entry into the afterparty, while for £10 there’s a welcome cocktail and entry to the afterparty from 9pm.

Bierkeller Bristol

Join in the fun at what promises to be Bristol’s biggest rock party, with a soundtrack of metal, alternative rock, punk, nu metal and classic rock carrying on until 3am. Free bubbly at midnight with advance tickets, and a free breakfast served from 2am to keep you going.

Headed up by BBC 6 Music DJ all-round funky bloke Craig Charles, NYE at Colston Hall promises to be an evening of funk, soul and retro grooves, starting from 7pm.

Hyde & Co

Their 1920s-themed Midnight in Paris party follows the journey of a private investigator involved in a jewel heist, includes three cocktails and glass of fizz on the strike of midnight. Tickets are £45 per person and the fun starts at 9.30pm. 1920s dress is encouraged.

02 Academy

Their regular night gets an upgrade. Ramshackle in Wonderland promises to be an evening of drum and bass, grime, bassline and everything in between, starting from 10pm and going on until the wee hours.

Enjoy a New Year fiesta, and see in 2018 as you mean to go on: with a four-course tapas meal with Cava on arrival (£45). If you’re more of a partier than a foodie, head upstairs to secret dancing spot Noche Negra, where a £35 ticket includes two hours of bottomless Cava and Pintxos, starting from 9pm.

The Break Stuff Nu Years Millennium Monster Ball will be celebrating everything 1999, playing the likes of Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Linkin Park and more. Doors open 10pm.

The Smugglers Ball delves into the history The Milk Thistle, beginning in the mid-1800’s, and they promise it’ll be fit for lords, ladies, rogues and pirates.
