18-year-old charged with attempted murder

An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a series of assaults in Bristol city centre in the early hours of Sunday. 

Louis Anthony Holmes, of Fishponds, has been charged with one count of attempted murder and two counts of wounding following the incident outside the Dojo Lounge in Park Row. 

Holmes is due to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Police also arrested a 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. They have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries. 

An investigation continues into a linked incident of a car found on fire in Chelsea Park and the damage caused to nearby vehicles.
