The yearly roundup sees Rife select the most influential people under the age of 24. “We managed to whittle down tens upon tens of nominations to the list, and it definitely wasn’t easy,” said editor Sammy Jones.
“From swimmers to app developers, each and every one of these Bristolian or Bristol-based entries were jaw-dropping.”
2019’s list of ’24 under 24’ sees the likes of rising radio star Vanessa Wilkins, YouthStrike4Climate and even Bristol24/7’s Lowie Trevena listed as some of the most influential young Bristolians of the year.

The list isn’t a definitive list, however: “We can’t capture every person doing wonderful things in Bristol as this list would be ten miles long,” says Sammy. “Think of this as a conversation starter.”
