A sneak peek of Bristol24/7’s Talking LGBT+ Bristol documentary
Since the launch of Bristol24/7 Voices in September 2017, we have been gathering stories that reflect on the weird and wonderful city that we live in.
Talking LGBT+ Bristol looks at the diverse voices of the LGBT+ community from across the city and the history that has shaped it.
We are excited to present a sneak preview of Talking LGBT+ Bristol, the second film in the Bristol24/7 Voices series, in partnership with Tusko Flims:
is needed now More than ever
We want to say a special thanks to all our contributors from the LGBT+ community and beyond, who range from historians, hate crime caseworkers, local activists, drag artists and more.
“The first phase of filming Talking LGBT+ Bristol has been an incredible experience,” says Bristol24/7 Partnerships Manager Connie Reeves.
“We have been overwhelmed by the candid and personal stories that the project captured, and feel that it is important to document and share these amazing stories of LGBT+ life and history in Bristol with a wider audience. And this is only the beginning.”
Are you part of the LGBT+ community in Bristol? We want to know what you like about Bristol, what could be better about the city, and what makes Bristol, Bristol?
Join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #LGBT247 and #voices247
Look out for the final Talking LGBT+ Bristol film that will be shown as part of the Bristol Pride festival in July.
