Adverts for cannabis appear around Stokes Croft
The posters are alongside others for new albums and club nights. These are not for music, however, but for “hassle-free top quality cannabis”.
The Bitz 420 says they are “making it easier for people to buy high quality cannabis in the UK”.
A large cannabis leaf is displayed on their posters which can be seen around Stokes Croft and on the side of Lakota in St Paul’s.

The Bitz 420 sells weed, hash, edibles, shake, dust and THC vapes via their website, with customers paying via cryptocurrency and goods delivered “super stealthy. Anyone who sees the package will never know or suspect anything.”
Cannabis currently for sale on the site is priced from £40 for 3.5 grams including for “6-Month Oak Barrel Hash”, Nepalese hash and cherry gelato hash.
The posters point people in the direction of the company’s website and Telegram channel, as well as offering a five per cent discount for new customers.

The people behind The Bitz 420 say that they “believe UK legislation around cannabis is very outdated and we expect the whole marketplace to expand hugely when our Government changes the law in the near future”.
Their website adds: “All of our weed is sourced from connections and relationships with growers spanning over a decade period.
“With the ever changing world and technology, the old school way of meeting a dealer on a street corner is outdated and that is where The Bitz 420 steps in.
“Know what you’re buying beforehand, read the reviews, research online about the weed, check the pictures, order, and have the weed delivered to your door within 1-3 days in most cases the next day.”
