Bristol Uni’s live music and arts venue, housed in the recently face-lifted Student Union building. The likeably institutional hall has hosted huge international acts since 1960, including David Bowie, Blur and Radiohead. Acoustics can suffer from ‘sports hall boom’, but a recent refurbishment has ameliorated this and increased capacity to 1,200. Wallet-friendly student bar is a bonus.
