With £6m pledged to improve cycling infrastructure in our city, the subject of Bristol’s wheeled community is an increasingly hot topic.

Zoe Banks Gross is a cyclist keen to make active travel in Bristol safer, more inclusive and enjoyable.

She first started cycling when she was little, but paused when she started a family as it took some time to gain confidence riding with a child.

Going on to found East Bristol Kidical Mass family cycling group, she now works as head of partnerships and public affairs for the south of England at Sustrans.
