By Ellie Pipe  Thursday Aug 4, 2022

A man has been stabbed during what police say was a “confrontation involving a number of people”.

A section of Castle Park near Bristol Bridge remained cordoned off on Thursday following the incident on Wednesday night. A taxi that appears to have been abandoned is inside the cordon.

Police arrested a 35-year-old man, who remains in custody.
