Arts Flash Sale extends to Bath
Some of Bristol’s biggest entertainment venues will be releasing discounted tickets in a 24-hour flash sale from 10am on Thursday, January 19.
Venues offering events in music, theatre, and art will be involved, from old Bristol favourites Colston Hall, Watershed, Bristol Old Vic and the Tobacco Factory Theatres, to Bath attractions like The Bath Festival and Bath Philharmonia.
Offers will be promoted through the hashtag #flashtag, with impressive discounts available: Bath Choral Society has 30 per cent off tickets for St John Passion available through Bath Box Office; Watershed takes 25 per cent off film ticket prices; and Bristol Old Vic has 30 per cent off best available seats for shows stretching into July.

Meanwhile, St George’s offers 25 per cent off 21 events – ranging from notable percussionist Evelyn Glennie to folk stars O’Hooley and Tidow; and Tobacco Factory Theatres have made a range of tickets with reductions available, including their hotly anticipated Shakespeare and Classic Drama seasons.
Bristol Cathedral is participating for the first time, offering a discount on tickets to The Anatomy of Antiques with Antiques Roadshow specialist Marc Allum.
All venues involved will sell their offers through their own ticketing facilities.
Martin Pople, manager of Bristol and Bath Cultural Destinations Project, said: “We want to encourage residents and visitors to explore more of both cities. When it comes to arts and events, Bristol and Bath are an unbeatable combination with so much to offer.”
