Auctioneer announced for Great Sheep Round Up
TV auctioneer Tim Wonnacott will take control of the Great Sheep Roundup charity auction set to take place in October.
All 120 Shauns will go under the hammer on October 8 following a summer of statues dotted around the city for the Shaun in the City trail.
The former Bargain Hunt star, who auctioned the Gromit Unleashed statues whcih fetched £2.3 million two years ago, is currently suspended by the BBC over claims of bullying.

The aution will take place at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, after the statues return from a final exhibition in Covent Garden.
Tim has already made a top-secret visit to the exhibition, sizing up the sheep ahead of the charity trail’s grand finale.
The former director of Sotheby’s described Shaun in the City as a “ground-breaking project” and said that several of the designs at this year’s event will be “highly sought after”.
Nicola Masters, the director at The Grand Appeal, claims Wonnacott’s “expert knowledge and experience” was “invaluable” in making the pioneering Gromit auction a success, and is looking forward to another “electric evening”.
From Thursday, the statues are on temporary exhibition in London’s Covent Garden to mark the launch of the finale, returning to their hometown on September 27.
