Beach clean team helps remove litter from Avon Gorge
Not many cities in the world have such a stunning geological feature as the Avon Gorge so close to the centre of the city.
But look closely and it’s not as picture perfect as it seems.
Helping to return the riverbank to its natural state on Saturday morning was a team made up of dozens of volunteers as part of Surfers Against Sewage’s Big Spring Beach Clean campaign.
is needed now More than ever

130 volunteers took part in Surfers Against Sewage’s Big Spring Beach Clean campaign
The 130-strong team found cans, bottles and crisp packets, as well as syringes, a knife and even a large plastic tube.
