By Bristol24/7  Thursday Jul 21, 2016

Bristol’s newest hotel is currently taking shape on Corn Street and Bristol24/7 readers will be able to gain exclusive behind the scenes access in the months leading up to it opening in the autumn.

Harbour Hotels are restoring the former Lloyds and Midland banks on Corn Street, which will be linked together to create luxurious accommodation, the Jetty restaurant and a basement spa.

The grand former Lloyds banking hall will also become a grand events space.

“We are delighted to introduce people to the abundance of character within our walls and look forward to welcoming back people of Bristol who have an affiliation with this beautiful building,” says Grant Callaghan, Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa general manager who will be Bristol24/7’s tour guide on Facebook Live videos as building work on the hotel progresses.

“We are excited to celebrate the buildings’ new era of becoming one of Bristol’s most impressive hotels and event spaces.”
