17 of the weekend’s best snow photos

Bristol woke up to a fresh blanket of snow on Sunday morning with temperatures dropping to -2C.

Flights from Bristol Airport were cancelled, emergency beds were made available for the homeless and drivers advised by the police to keep off the roads.

Much of the snow still remains on Monday, with heavy snow showers and gusty winds forecast for the morning, followed by increasing amounts of sunshine as the day progresses.
