Body found in hunt for missing student
The family of missing student Olisa Odukwe have been informed after a body of a man was pulled out of the docks.
Police divers located and recovered the body near Narrow Quay on Tuesday afternoon.
Formal identification has not yet been carried out and the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, with warm tributes paid to University of Bristol student Olisa.

The 20-year-old was originally from Tunbridge Wells but lived in Redland, where he was last seen at 7am on Saturday morning.
Olisa was a second year student who was studying mechanical engineering. He also played football for the university.

Students had organised a search through Ashton Court and Leigh Woods on Tuesday, as well as putting hundreds of missing posters throughout the city and organising a social media campaign.
Olisa’s football team, the University of Bristol Association Men’s Football Club, said on Instagram: “In light of new information, we are now grieving the loss of our dear friend Olisa.
“Olisa was universally loved; a kind, gentle and funny character who brought a smile to the face of whoever he was with.
“Please keep Olisa’s family and friends in your thoughts at this difficult time.”
