Body found in search for Paul Griffiths

The body of a man has been recovered in the search for the missing Paul Griffiths.

Griffiths went missing on September 29 after walking out of the Priory hospital in Stapleton.

A formal identification is yet to take place, although Griffiths’ family said they had been informed he had taken his own life.

They added in a Facebook post: “Paul Griffiths: A talented, funny, caring dad, husband, brother, friend with love all around him, a home and an amazing passion for music, is no longer with us.”

The body was located during an organised search on Wednesday. The search included some of his family and friends.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “Our thoughts are with Paul’s family.”
