Body pulled from Floating Harbour
The body of a man has been pulled from the Floating Harbour near Bristol Bridge.
Police were called overnight after a witness reported splashing noises near Welsh Back.
The body was recovered on Tuesday morning by a team of police divers who had been scouring the harbour.

A police spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the body of a man has been found in the water at Bristol harbour.
“We were contacted shortly after 3.30am this morning regarding a concern for welfare after a member of the public saw a man entering the water at Welsh Back.
“A multi-agency operation commenced and shortly before 11am the body of an adult male was located in the water.
“Our enquiries are continuing and the public will see an increased police presence in this area.”
