Brailsford Lights shine a glow on Brentry for another year
Now in its 26th year, an annual Christmas lights display in Brentry has raised more than £74,000 for Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal.
Due to tier 3 regulations, this year’s Brailsford Lights switch-on did not have people gathered outside the Brailsford family home on Trevisa Grove.
Instead, the entertainment was streamed live online:
is needed now More than ever
Lee Brailsford said that he and the family “were determined to still put on a show and spread some festive cheer”.
The lights will be turned on every night until the new year, with social distancing guidance in place to make sure those that wish to see the display in person can do so safely.
This year’s display featuring more than 50,000 lights took six weeks to build.
To make a donation, text 5lights to donate £5, 10lights to donate £10 or 20lights to donate £20 to 70450, visit the Brailsford’s Just Giving page or use the collection boxes outside the Brailsford home.
