Becky Watts: Two still questioned for murder
Police have until Wednesday afternoon to question two people arrested on suspicion of the murder of Becky Watts.
The man and woman, reported to be Becky’s step-brother 28-year-old Nathan Matthews and his 21-year-old partner Shauna Phillips, were arrested on Saturday and they remain in custody.
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed Ms Phillips was taken to hospital on Wednesday evening for a short period.
Police have also been given a further 24 hours to question a further five people arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. The four men and one woman remain in custody.
On Monday evening body parts were discovered by police searching a house for Becky Watts.
In a statement Becky’s parents Darren and Anjie Galsworthy said: “To receive such news as we did today about our dear daughter and step-daughter Becky is too much to bear.
Becky’s grandfather John Galsworthy said the family are “heartbroken”.
“We cannot begin to understand what has happened and why.
“Becky was a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece and we cannot put into words how devastated we are.

Floral tributes have been laid outside Becky’s family home.
At a press conference on Tuesday morning Detective Superintendent Mike Courtiour broke the news of the discovery of a body at Barton Court in Barton Hill: “As a result of new information received late last night, we attended a house.
“The information suggested that Becky’s body had been cut up and a search at the new location resulted in the discovery of body parts.
“Although formal identification procedures have not yet been completed, we have made Becky’s family aware of this discovery.”
Police are also continue to question a further four men and a women who have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
