Bristol climbing the ecstacy tables

Bristol, your MDMA game is strong. Stronger than party capitals of Barcelona or Berlin, according to a new report.

Tests of waste water by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs has put Bristol in 6th place in Europe when it comes to the prevalence of ecstasy.

MDMA, the active ingredient in Es, now seems to be firmly the stimulant of choice here, with Bristol also appearing at 15th in the list for Cocaine.

Bristol’s position, just behind London, on this year’s list shows a growth in the drug since last year when the city was placed 8th.

Experts have noted how ecstasy tablets have got stronger in recent years, with all-time high levels of MDMA in some cases. Happy raving…
