Bristol fox makes national award
A Bristol photographer has made it into the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition for this picture of a urban fox peeking over a wall.
Same Hobson snapped the cheeky fox in the dead of the night in a residential street, helping him finish runner-up in the Urban category of the awards.
The picture was the result of nights spent tracking foxes, scouting the perfect location and setting up a remote trigger to capture the creature unaware.
is needed now More than ever
The fox, who is fed regularly by residents nearby, has a weeping left eye the result of getting too close to a neighbourhood cat, according to Sam.
