Bristol24/7 membership campaign leads to outpouring of support
Last month at Bristol24/7 we set ourselves a target to reach 1,000 supporter members. Since then, we’ve had an incredible 219 new members join our community bringing our total to 970.
We’re overwhelmed with the love that the people of Bristol have shown us and the value that you place in our local independent journalism.

We had some lovely comments on our articles from existing members.
Whilst we didn’t quite reach our target of 1,000 members within the timeframe we hoped for, the 29 per cent growth in our community has gone a long way to secure the future of our independent journalism, and we now have the backing of 970 supporter members.
is needed now More than ever
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the individuals and local businesses that helped amplify our message.

A huge thank you to the individuals and businesses that shared our message
With the support of our most engaged readers, we have a resilient platform from which to launch our plans for the year. In the next few weeks, we will be revealing our charity partners for this year, our plans to increase our climate coverage and our revamped work experience programme.
To say a huge thank you to all our members, old and new, we are planning some exciting member perks in the coming months. These will include the chance to win festival tickets, exclusive invites to new openings, more freebies, and a celebratory shindig in the summer.
We couldn’t be prouder to be a part of independent Bristol, and with your help we are going to broaden our coverage, give a voice to marginalised communities, create opportunities for young people and support environmental projects.
Whilst our month long campaign to urgently grow our membership ends here for now, our readers and followers can join our community at any time. With every individual and business that chooses to support our local independent journalism, we get a little bit closer to being a voice and a resource for the whole of Bristol.
