By Martin Booth  Tuesday Jan 8, 2019

Bristol has been revealed as one of “the most happening” European destinations for 2019 by the Independent.

The city joins the likes of Minsk, Rotterdam and Venice on the list of 10 cities to visit this year, exactly 12 months since the New York Times named Bristol one of the best places to visit in the world in 2018.

At the end of 2018, Bristol also won the Rising Star Award at the National Geographic Traveller Reader Awards.
