First Corporate Shipping is a private company owned by Terence Mordaunt and David Ord.

In 1991, the company purchased a 150-year lease of the Avonmouth & Royal Portbury Docks from Bristol City Council.

The freehold of the docks estate was sold by the council for £10m in 2015, with the city retaining a 12.5 per cent shareholding in Bristol Port Company.

Former Bristol lord mayor, Chris Davies, the Lib Dem councillor for Knowle, currently serves as a director of First Corporate Shipping.
