Bristol Reuse Campaign to host an event with Bristol Waste Company
Bristol Reuse Campaign is hosting another of their monthly social and networking evenings on Wednesday, March 27 2019. Bringing together those with an interest in waste reduction and re-use, the event will take place at the Centrespace gallery in the heart of the city.
Bristol Reuse Campaign, initially called the Bristol Reuse Network, is a volunteer-led group who are united in their passion for reusing. They believe in the power of reusing to bring about social and environmental change.
Joanna Dainton, reuse co-ordinator at Bristol Waste Company, is speaking about the recent campaign ‘Choose to Reduce’ – recovering and then reselling items from their household waste and recycling centres. Their next sale takes place on March 30 at Paintworks.

Joanna will also announce the next eco-friendly initiative, the #WasteNothingChallenge. The campaign challenges 50 Bristol households to cut the amount of waste they produce every year with a long term aim to lead a zero-waste lifestyle.

Bristol Reuse Campaign aim to to ‘inform people about the value of reuse’, ‘promote reuse organisations’ and ‘connect like-minded people’ through the work they do, and this event is great chance to learn more and meet others.
