Bristol Reuse Campaign to host an event with Bristol Waste Company

By Georgia Watts  Wednesday Mar 20, 2019

Bristol Reuse Campaign is hosting another of their monthly social and networking evenings on Wednesday, March 27 2019. Bringing together those with an interest in waste reduction and re-use, the event will take place at the Centrespace gallery in the heart of the city.

Bristol Reuse Campaign, initially called the Bristol Reuse Network, is a volunteer-led group who are united in their passion for reusing. They believe in the power of reusing to bring about social and environmental change.

Joanna Dainton, reuse co-ordinator at Bristol Waste Company, is speaking about the recent campaign ‘Choose to Reduce’ –  recovering and then reselling items from their household waste and recycling centres. Their next sale takes place on March 30 at Paintworks.

Joanna will announce the zero waste campaign on Wednesday, March 27

Bristol Reuse Campaign aim to to ‘inform people about the value of reuse’, ‘promote reuse organisations’ and ‘connect like-minded people’ through the work they do, and this event is great chance to learn more and meet others.

The event is happening between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday, March 27 and will be free to attend. For further information, visit: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bristol-reuse-campaign-monthly-meetup-talk-from-bristol-waste-company-tickets-58862638737
