Bristol schools host Palestinian exchange
Five teachers from the Palestinian territories will be visiting Bristol schools this week as part of an exchange programme.
The teachers will visit Bedminster Down S.econdary, Victoria Park Primary and Parson Street Primary from today until Friday, with Bristol teachers travelling to the West Bank later this year.
The Connecting Classrooms is a global education programme, with this exchange part of it and organised by the British Council and the Malago Learning Partnership.

Ms Smaher Shin, from al-Azwar school in Ramallah, said: “We want to present Palestinian culture and to work with the hosting schools on social media and learn of alternative remedies present in both cultures.”
