Bristol24/7: Your trusted source of news in testing times
Dear Bristol24/7 readers, advertisers and supporters,
Like many of you, the team at Bristol24/7 are all currently working from home. I sincerely hope that wherever you are, you are keeping safe and well.
During the coronavirus crisis, Bristol24/7 will continue to be your trusted source of news.
is needed now More than ever
Our live blog – read today’s here – will keep you updated with the latest breaking news, while our reporters will also continue to bring you news, features, opinion and more from across the city; continue to hold power to account; and highlight the good and the bad of Bristol.
But to continue doing this, we need your help. Please do consider becoming a member to support our award-winning independent journalism and support our social impact projects. Visit my.bristol247.com/join to sign up for just £5 a month.
If you sign up to become a member by April 10, you will be able to have a copy of our April magazine sent to your house.
Fewer copies of our free magazine than usual have been printed and the magazine is temporarily slimmer due to advertisers understandably needing to protect themselves during this crisis.
Here are all of the shops still open that are stocking the magazine.
And if you cannot get your hands on a physical copy, read our April magazine online here.
Despite being smaller, the quality of journalism remains as high as ever inside the magazine as it does online.
I want to pass on my gratitude to all of the brilliant businesses that have supported us over the years. We will overcome these testing times together.
To everyone who supports our journalism: thank you. Your words of appreciation always mean so much to all of us.
Thank you for reading and for becoming a Bristol24/7 member. Thank you following us on social media, for commenting on and sharing our content. Thank you for your ideas and for telling us your stories. We couldn’t do this without you.
Please do send us videos and other creative content that you have been doing at home during lockdown so we can showcase your endeavours. Please email [email protected]
It is a great honour to be Editor of Bristol24/7 and to help bring Bristol together. With your support, we will get through this.
