Bristol24/7 to launch a new quarterly magazine

By Bristol24/7  Saturday Dec 31, 2022

Bristol24/7 will be launching a brand new magazine in spring 2023, building on the legacy of our popular monthly magazine that was paused due to the pandemic.

Post-Covid, Bristol24/7 has survived by pivoting our business model to online only.

But with the support of our members and key partners, we have now stabilised enough to be able to bring back the printed magazine – but this time as quarterly rather than monthly.

“I can’t wait for everyone across our city to get their hands on the new Bristol24/7 quarterly magazine,” said Bristol24/7 Editor Martin Booth.

“It’s testament to the hard work of all of our team that Bristol24/7 has not simply survived as a digital-first publication but thrived.

“We are all incredibly excited about the return of a printed magazine, which will enable us to cover more in-depth the issues that matter in our city.”

Bristol24/7 trialled a return to print last year, with the publication of the Festival Guide, the EatDrink24/7 guide and the Student Guide.

All were exceptionally well received, bolstering our decision to bring back a regular print product.

The annual guides will continue to be published alongside the new quarterly magazine.

Bristol24/7 Community and Memberships Manager, Meg Houghton-Gilmour said: “We hear a lot from our readers and members about how much they miss our magazine.

“There’s something really special about being able to read a physical product in an increasingly digital world.

“We want to reward our community of readers and members who supported us through such a tricky time by bringing back our magazine and distributing it for free.”

You will be able to pick up the new quarterly magazine from cultural venues, shops, pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants across Bristol.

Bristol24/7 are planning the first quarterly magazine to be distributed in spring 2023. We will be celebrating the launch with an event in March where attendees will be the first to be given a copy.
