By Martin Booth  Tuesday Jan 4, 2022

Brittany Carter, a sales manager at Bristol’s two Marriott hotels, is confident that she will reach the final of The Apprentice this year.

Viewers of Matt Edmondson’s Meet the Candidates on the BBC iPlayer are also shown that the 25-year-old can flawlessly recite Busta Rhymes’ rap in Chris Brown’s Look At Me Now.

Brittany is a former pupil of Colston’s Girls’ School and St Brendan’s Sixth Form College who studied hotel management at the University of Essex.

“What makes me me is I really love socialising and building relationships with people,” Brittany says in her audition tape.

She says: “My motto for life is ‘always look on the bright side and be grateful for everything’. Every day when I wake up, I write ten things that I am grateful for and when I go to sleep, I reflect on five things I am grateful for from that day.”

She describes herself as kind, sociable and enthusiastic, with a positive outlook on life, who is ready to learn as much as possible throughout the process, with the first episode of series 16 of The Apprentice on Thursday.
