Bus design commemorating Bristol Bus Boycott unveiled
A new bus design has been revealed, commemorating 60 years since the end of the Bristol Bus Boycott.
After being unveiled at Lawrence Hill Bus Depot on Wednesday morning, the bus journeyed around Bristol and took its passengers to notable black history spots across the city.
Alissa Thaler, an Italian illustrator and animator, won a competition by First Bus for artists to design the bus.

She based her design on the storyline of events that led to the overturning of a ban on bus operators employing black and Asian people.
