Car parks become free for NHS staff
Cabot Circus car park is the latest in Bristol to allow NHS staff to use it for free.
“We know that NHS workers are really going the extra mile right now, and we are all hugely grateful for everything they are doing,” a Cabot Circus spokesperson said.
“Hopefully, this news will make their journeys to work a little easier and safer.”
is needed now More than ever
It follows other car parks including Millennium Square, Trenchard Street and the Galleries which are already free for NHS staff.
Donna Speed, chief executive of We The Curious, who run Millennium Square car park, said: “We’re so glad to be able to offer something to the brilliant NHS staff who are working so hard to curb the pandemic.
“It’s a small gesture, which will hopefully mean that they don’t need to come to work using public transport, and also means that it’s one less thing for them to think about at this unsteady time.
“It’s a small way to say a massive thank to you to them all.”
