Cars damaged after lightning strikes tree
Who needs the Tyre Extinguishers when the force of nature can do an even better job?
Two cars were seriously damaged after a branch from a tree fell on them on Tuesday. It is thought that the tree had been struck by lightning during a thunder storm the previous evening.
Nobody was hurt but the police were in attendance and a tree surgeon was called.

The cars damaged by the branch were a Renault Mégane and a Range Rover.
They were parked on Royal York Crescent in Clifton beneath the tree in the private garden able to be accessed by residents of the road and York Gardens the other side of the garden.
