‘Celebrating the religious diversity of Bristol’
Churches, mosques and other religious venues across Bristol are opening up their doors this Sunday to share their beliefs and communities with the Bristol community.
Bristol Diverse Doors will be a day to celebrate the diversity of Bristol, giving communities the chance to experience each other’s cultures and learn about each other’s beliefs. Visitors will be offered the opportunity to visit a range of places of worship and discover the many faith communities that exist in Bristol.
The event, organised by Bristol Multi Faith Forum (BMMF), will focus on the theme of ‘Spirituality and Wellbeing’ in collaboration with the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health partnership NHS Trust (AWP). BMFF will also focus on world peace and efforts to support the distressed people affected by war.

The ‘Multi Faith Trail’ will connect eight core venues, including a Buddhist shrine, a mosque, a Greek Orthodox church, an Evangelical church, a Sikh guruwara, a Jewish synagogue, a Hindu temple and a Bahai centre.
BMFF has organised the Bristol Diverse Doors Open for a number of years as a way to celebrate the religious diversity of Bristol. The trail offers people the opportunity to visit a range of places of worship and get a flavour of the many faiths in Bristol.
