Christmas lights with a big difference

A community group in Bedminster is making an urgent call for Bristolians to help raise cash towards a spectacular modern Christmas lights show. 

Bedminster Town Team has partnered up with Ulf Pedersen, a world renowned lighting artist, to set up festive projections on buildings in the area.

Each projection will differ, from classic festive phrases from Christmas carols, to thin strips of snowflakes or snow, and adding lighting to hanging baskets.

Some £22,000 is needed for the show overall, but the town team is hoping to win an extra £5,000 grant – this can only be done if the team receives 50 pledges by the end of this week.
