Community farm devastated at duck theft
Thieves have stolen ten ducks from Hartcliffe Community Farm.
The eight month old birds were donated to the farm and staff say they are “filled with disgust” that someone could steal them.
A spokesperson said: “They are a valuable breed and together are worth in the region of £400.
is needed now More than ever
“We had 10 ducks stolen – six female, four male. Six are white and four are speckled in colour.”
“Our post has now been shared and liked well over 100 times so we are hoping that social media can help us find them.
“Obviously if anyone is offered call ducks or sees someone with 10 new call ducks we would appreciate them contacting the farm or the police immediately.”
The farm, based in Lampton Avenue, is run as a working farm for the community of Hartcliffe.
