Cycling from Bristol to Munich to run a marathon
The director of the Harbourside Market is set to cycle from Bristol to Munich to run a marathon for Cancer Research UK.
James Coomber will run the Munich Marathon on October 8, after what will be an 800-mile cycle to the German city, averaging 85 miles per day in the saddle.
James will be joined by three of his friends on the cycling leg of the journey, which will take them through France and Belgium before arriving in the capital of Bavaria.

Hoping to raise money for Cancer Research UK, James said he was inspired to do the challenge after witnessing family and friends being impacted by cancer.
“Recently, I’ve witnessed family and friends being impacted by cancer and know how significant new treatments can be,” said James, 33, who lives in Southville, and is also the founder and owner of Cycle The City.
“Given that cancer is likely to affect one in two people my age during their lifetime, I hope that by undertaking this challenge, I can raise funds and contribute in some small way to restacking those odds.”
