Danny Dyer drives Sinclair C5 through Bristol

By Mia Vines Booth  Wednesday Jun 28, 2023

Danny Dyer has been spotted in Bristol donning a moustache and eighties suit in an electric tricycle.

The actor was spotted in Queen Square amongst red London buses and old newspaper stands, for the filming of a new Disney+ series in Bristol.

Dyer has joined actors David Tennant and Aidan Turner for the filming of Rivals, a Disney+ series based on Jilly Cooper’s romantic novels, the Rutshire Chronicles.

The novels explore the shocking lives and antics of the power-grabbing social elite of 1980s England.

The show will bring Cooper’s characters to life with everything from wit, romantic entanglements and sex to scandal and even death.

Bottleyard Studios announced in March that Disney+ would be filming the series, produced by Happy Prince, at their studios in Bristol.
