Date for trial over baby shot in the head

Two people had appeared in court for the second time charged in connection with an 18-month old baby who remains in a critical condition after he was shot in the head with an air gun.

Jordan Walters, 24, of Oak House, Bishport Avenue, Hartcliffe, had already pleaded guilty to greivous bodily harm. His partner Emma Horseman, 23,  has been charged with aiding or abetting.

The judge said she will face a two or three-day trial from January 30, 2017.

He remanded Walters in custody to HMP Bristol and released Horseman on conditional bail.
