Date revealed for first episode of The Outlaws on BBC One

By Martin Booth  Thursday Oct 14, 2021

The Outlaws is finally coming to BBC One, as the second series of the show continues to film in Bristol.

The comedy-thriller from Stephen Merchant received its world premiere at the Watershed earlier this month and comes to the small screen later this month.

Written, directed and produced from the Hanham-born star, The Outlaws follows a group of disparate people – including Oscar-winning actor Christopher Walken in his first UK television role – carrying out community service.

Speaking at the world premiere at Watershed, Merchant thanked the people of Bristol for being so welcoming to the production during its filming in the city.

Episode one of the comedy-thriller originally known as The Offenders starts in the Galleries shopping centre and features other familiar locations including Park Street, the Bearpit, the Cumberland Basin flyover, Dove Street flats in Kingsdown and the former Bank of England building on the corner of Castle Park.

The Clifton Suspension Bridge, Prince Street and Temple Way underpass also feature in the trailer.

The Outlaws is on BBC One on October 25 at 9pm.
