“Creative industries, backed by the next Labour government, right at the heart of our plan for economic growth, where they belong,” said Debbonaire.
“Shouting loud and proud about the joy they bring. It’s what makes us human. It makes life worth living.

Debbonaire addressed the Labour conference after the challenger for her parliamentary seat, Green Party co-leader Carla Denyer, took to the stage at the Greens’ conference in Brighton.
Bristol West will become the new constituency of Bristol Central by the time of the next general election, with one recent poll predicting a Green victory.
Denyer told her party conference that Bristol Central will be one of four target constituencies in 2024 alongside Brighton Pavilion, Waveney Valley and North Herefordshire.
