Doctor Who confirms Neil Patrick Harris is playing the Toymaker
Here in Bristol, we have known that Neil Patrick Harris is making an appearance in new episodes of Doctor Who since June 2022 when he was spotted filming scenes for the show in the Old City.
But it has now finally been confirmed that Harris will be playing the role of the Toymaker, a villain who has not appeared in Doctor Who for 57 years.
During filming for the 60th anniversary special in 2022, the facade of Chez Marcel on Broad Street was transformed into a toyshop called Mr Emporium – featuring magic, games and tricks including puppets, marbles and skittles.
