Dumper vehicle ends up in Eastville Park Lake

By Ellie Pipe  Wednesday Feb 23, 2022

Ducks and geese got an unexpected visitor when a dumper vehicle ended up in Eastville Park Lake.

A small row of cones and makeshift floating cordon marked the spot where the yellow machine remained in the water on Tuesday afternoon.

Bristol Parks said they are making arrangements to remove the dumper vehicle following an incident earlier in the day.

The council’s parks department has confirmed the driver was not hurt and that the incident is being investigated.

Bristol Parks added: “As the vehicle is electric any risk to the environment is extremely low.”
