Exclusive Attenborough premiere in Bristol
Sir David Attenborough will be attending the Bristol premiere of Planet Earth II in an exclusive screening at Cinema De Lux – and you are invited.
The living legend will be in conversation with Miranda Krestovnikoff (Coast and The One Show) at the event at 7pm on Wednesday, November 2 alongside members of the Planet Earth II production team exec producer Mike Gunton, series producer Tom Hugh-Jones and producer Elizabeth White.

Planet Earth II – which was made at the world famous Natural History Unit (NHU) on Whiteladies Road – promises to “reveal our planet from a completely new perspective using significant advances in both filming technology and our understanding of the natural world.
“Travelling through jungles, deserts, mountains, islands, grasslands and cities, the series explores the unique characteristics of Earth’s most iconic habitats and the extraordinary ways animals survive within them.”
Julian Hector, newly appointed head of the NHU, will be hosting the event. He said: “Bristol has been the global home of natural history programme making for almost 60 years so perfect to host the national premiere of Planet Earth II.
“Fans will get the chance to see this much anticipated landmark programme ahead of its debut on BBC One along with one of Bristol’s best loved treasures, Sir David Attenborough.”
