Explosions in Frenchay ‘operational training’

By Pamela Parkes  Tuesday Mar 15, 2016

Residents in Frenchay say they have been hearing deafening explosions coming from the former Frenchay hospital site on Tuesday morning.

Stuart Blanchard, who lives near the site, said he was in his garden when he heard the first explosion “which sounded like a gas main blowing up”.

“”It was so loud my heart jumped,” he added.
