Fire breaks out in block of flats
A serious fire broke out in a block of flats in Lockleaze early on Thursday morning.
Crews from Southmead, Temple, Patchway, Kingswood and Bedminster attended the fire in the seven-storey building on Morris Road.
They were called to Danby House at 12.38am, using three 45mm jets and one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the blaze. Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus.

One woman was taken to hospital by ambulance with the cause of the fire thought to have been accidental.
The fire broke out in the same block of flats where thieves blew up a cash machine in March 2022.
