The bargains will be offered on a first come, first served basis starting at 10am on Friday, September 4. All prices will return to normal the next day.

The event is being held after the success of the first Bristol arts flash sale in January. This time the number of venues has increased from four to nine, including the Circus City festival.

There is the chance to save 25 per cent on autumn concerts in St George’s and September films in the Watershed.

Bristol Old Vic will be offering 30 per cent off selected shows between September and December, which will see tickets sold for as low as £8. The Tobacco Factory Theatres is offering discounts for shows such as their Christmas play The Light Princess.

Other highlights include Colston Hall’s 30 per cent off all listed performances, which includes Asian Dub Foundation and eight other shows. The M Shed is offering a huge 50 per cent off their Nature, Cameron, Action exhibition.

Updates will be made on each venue’s website, as well as on Twitter using the hashtag #flashtag.
