Four children and five adults rescued from flat fire

Five adults and four children were rescued by firefighters after a fire broke out in a flat above a restaurant.

Crews from Temple and Bedminster attended the fire on Friday evening in the flat above Zhyan restaurant on Stapleton Road

Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and rescued the nine people, who were all treated by ambulance staff at the scene, with police also in attendance.
