By Betty Woolerton  Monday Sep 5, 2022

A fundraiser has been set up to help the family of a Bristol rapper who was stabbed to death at Notting Hill Carnival.

Takayo Nembhard – known by his stage name TKorStretch – died on August 29 after being murdered on Ladbroke Grove, London.

The 21-year-old’s partner, Oshian Edwards, is pregnant with their son.

Now Takayo’s manager is trying to raise £20,000 to support Oshian and her unborn child.

Writing on a GoFundMe page, Chris Patrick said: “Little TK will never have the opportunity to know his Father, and Takayo will tragically never meet his little baby boy.

“Writing this breaks my heart, as nothing is more beautiful than seeing your first child grace the world with his or her first muted cry of hello!

“This moment has be taken from Takayo, Oshian.”

Earlier in the week, the young woman said she was left broken by her boyfriend’s death.

“I’m sat here with sore eyes and a heavy heart as I’ve cried consistently for the last 12 hours while carrying your unborn son,” Oshian said.

“I will remind him daily about how great you were as a son, brother, boyfriend and friend too.”

Patrick explained that any funds will go to Takayo’s family “to help raise his child and help Oshian through what will be a very difficult process of raising a child on her own!”

Nearly £8,000 has been donated so far.

The Metropolitan Police has launched a murder investigation following Takayo’s death and said hundreds of people were in the immediate vicinity under the Westway flyover at the time.
